Bachilton Barn sits in the Perthshire countryside, and the drive feels peaceful right up to the last bend.

From Perth

1. Leave Perth on the A85 heading west towards Crieff.

2. Stay on the A85 for roughly 7 miles.

3. As you reach the outskirts of Methven, slow down.

4. Turn left onto College Road, signposted for Bachilton Farm and Bachilton Barn.

5. Follow this road for just under a mile.

6. The entrance to Bachilton Barn appears on the right, marked clearly with signage. Parking is on site.

From the East (Edinburgh)

1. Take the M90 north towards Perth.

2. At Junction 10, follow signs for the A85 Crieff road.

3. Continue west through Perth and stay on the A85 towards Methven.

4. Turn left onto College Road as you approach Methven.

5. Continue for around a mile until you see the Bachilton Barn entrance on the right.

From the West (Crieff/Oban direction)

1. Travel east on the A85 towards Perth.

2. Pass through Methven village.

3. Just beyond the village boundary, turn right onto College Road.

4. Keep going until you reach the Bachilton Barn entrance on the right.

From the North (Inverness/Pitlochry)

1. Travel south on the A9 towards Perth.

2. Take the exit signposted for the A85 Crieff road.

3. Follow the A85 west.

4. Turn left onto College Road close to Methven.

5. Continue until Bachilton Barn appears on your right.

Craigies Farm

Craigies Farm sits between South Queensferry and Kirkliston, tucked just off the A90 with sweeping views across the fields.

From central Edinburgh

1. Head west on the A90 towards the Queensferry Crossing.

2. Take the slip road signposted for Kirkliston (B924).

3. At the top of the slip road, turn left towards Kirkliston.

4. After a short distance, turn right at the brown Craigies Farm sign.

5. Follow the track up the hill. The car park appears on your left at the top.

From the North

1. Cross the Queensferry Crossing heading south.

2. Take the first exit (Junction 1) signposted for the A90 Edinburgh.

3. Join the A90 and almost immediately take the slip road for Kirkliston (B924).

4. Turn left at the top of the slip road, then right at the Craigies Farm sign.

5. Follow the road up to the main car park.

From the West

1. Approach Kirkliston via the M9 or the A89.

2. Pass through Kirkliston and follow signs for the A90 Edinburgh.

3. Just before joining the A90, look for the brown Craigies Farm sign on your left.

4. Turn in and follow the rising farm road to the car park.

From the South

1. Take the A720 to the A90 junction and head west towards the Queensferry Crossing.

2. Take the Kirkliston slip road (B924).

3. Turn left at the top, then right at the brown Craigies sign.

4. Head up the hill to the car park.
